Families Ride Free
OnYerBike is delighted to be hosting our perennial ‘Families Ride Free’ event on Sunday 10 th May and Sunday 17 th May 2026 as part of nation Bike Week 2026 in conjunction with the sponsor – Louth Local Sports Partnership
The event offers families a free two hour cycling experience with OnYerBike, setting off from Carlingford Marina at the start of the Carlingford Lough Greenway at any time between 11am and 5pm.
For the children, we have 20 bikes ranging from 20” to 28” wheels, child seats and trailers and for the adults, 45 regular hybrid ladies and gents bikes.
You can even bring your small dog/cat, as we have doggie baskets, or a large dog up to 45kg in the ‘Big Doggie Trailer’.
The ‘Families Ride Free’ offer is for one adult per child for two hours on a ‘regular pedal bike’
Options
If you would prefer an eBike, then these are available at a supplement of €10 for two hours, €16 for 3 hours. Longer hire periods may also possible by arrangement, with guests paying the additional costs over the normal 2 hour ride.
By example, 3 hours for a regular hybrid bike is €17.50 and a 2 hours would normally be €14, so you pay just €3.50 to extend
